Amy’s words {I’ve got ideas}

Well, I’ve got ideas that might make the paper someday
Got folded up maps showing where I’m gonna be
I’ve got dreams that could sail a boat to the east
Pages and pages and pages of drawings

But that don’t mean so much to me

I got ideas that might make the press someday
Got folded up maps showing where I’m gonna be
I’ve got dreams that could sail a boat to the east
Pages and pages and pages of drawings

But that don’t mean so much
If you’re not in my story with me

– I’ve Got Ideas by Amy Seeley

A couple of years ago, I met a beautiful soul. I have adored Amy’s music for a while, especially slow tempo songs such as Beloved, Gravel Lines, The Trees Want You Back and I’ve Got Ideas. I’m one for lyrics, but seeing  such a musician perform live, seeing Amy feel every word, was moving. I am inspired her creativity in music and in the way she sees and feels the world around her, the images she creates and the care and attention she imparts to whoever she is with. She is also a very talented photographer.

So, I want to share her beautiful music with you, for there is a part of her in each song.
